About Nate
I was a cat owner until March 2023. My dear Wally left me due to kidney failure and I'm still healing from the loss. I miss having a kitty at home but I'm not ready to have my own. I'm travelling some times as well so fostering might not be the best option, hence pet sitting! I can care for the cat when I'm available. I have a cat safe home and litter box. I have done a couple of home stays, house visits so far. I like to visit community cats.
I am self employed so I don't have a fixed schedule but I do work from home quite a bit. I drive so it's easier for me. I'm definitely familiar with caring for cats with CKD. I used to give sub cuts to Wally and I'm also good at feeding him pills haha.
HOME STAYS & HOUSE VISITS
If you want me to stay at yours my fee minimally counts to cover petrol and parking, if it's free it's even better! I would like to do a home visit prior to assess suitability for both parties. I'm after all gonna stay at your place and taking care of your pet :)
For house visits I think it's important to do the same so I can also get acquainted with the duties and routine. Again you are entrusting your key to me. I can do basic house keeping such as sweeping or vacuuming fur. I don't mind watering your plants too 😀
Morning feeds aren't a problem but as I do events I may need to be out from 4-10/11pm (not very frequently) so if that's gonna be an issue I sometimes can tag team with my partner to help if she's available.
STAYING AT MINE
I live alone at AMK ave 3 in a HDB. My house windows have "invisible grills" and there's a mesh for my front gate. My gf comes sometimes.
Wally was relatively aggressive and he was a biter. So I'm not afraid of cats like him. If you leave your cats here with me, they cat might have to be alone for a few hours as I may not be 100% at home during the cat stay but I will definitely be around more.
Also your cat(s) will be the only ones in my home so this is perfect for cats who might not get along with others.
Happy to help so we can work something out!
