Hello everyone! You can call me Juju. I work part-time in customer service at a retail store. I absolutely love cats, and I'd care for them like my own children.

My Experiences With Cats: 

I have cared for 6 cats for a few years now together with my partner, all of my cats were adopted from shelters. I do have experience with handling topical medications or sterilising wounds. I tend to be the one who takes note of their health condition and any signs that show that they require medical treatments. Aparts from my own cats, I usually have cat food with me everywhere I go, in case I see a stray baby along the way.

Prior to joining Pawshake, I have been taking several bookings that were referred to me from a friend of mine that was retiring from petsitting. As of now, they have been regular clients with recurring bookings. Hence, petsitting is nothing new to me!

Pawshake Guarantee:

If you have pets with medical issues, it is highly recommended to go through the platform for payments and to fill in an intake form so that the Pawshake Guarantee can use its insurance to cover any trips to the vet, should your pet require it during our housesitting sessions. 

My Rates:

I am perfectly fine charging the same rate even if you have multiple pets for housesitting jobs. I understand how expensive pet care can be and the financial strain it can cause. I understand that boarding our pets is not only costly but also can be a point for high infection rates and stress-induced health issues.

If you need longer-term or recurring bookings, please message me for a better rate.

For house visits before 9 am, please note that taxi fare will need to be reimbursed. I've had clients request visits at 6-7 am, which takes me 1.5 hours to reach due to the lack of public transport at that time. Additionally, if you need me to stay past 11 pm or arrive before 9 am for house sittings, taxi fare reimbursement will also be necessary.

***Please note that Pawshake does take a 19% commission from the final payment to cover platform fees & pet insurance. Hence, my rates here are calculated to cover this, and rising transportation costs, etc. 

Informing Me About Your Cats' Medical or Trauma History:

Please let me know if your cats have a history of abuse, trauma, or starvation before adoption. Some cats may be extremely scared, aggressive, or tend to overeat due to their past experiences. This information will help me understand how to gradually make your cat comfortable with my presence and provide the appropriate care. For cats that tend to overeat, I can plan scheduled feedings. I understand that some cats can overeat because they were previously strays and constantly worried about finding food.

If your cat shows aggressive behavior, it would be beneficial to arrange a meet and greet to see if I can help ease the tension before making any bookings.

Additionally, please inform me if your cat is sick or requires supplements. I can assist with administering medications or supplements. I will also need to confirm if any illness is viral or non-viral to determine if I can accept the booking.

 My Hygiene Practices

I make it a point to clean up after myself during my housesitting, and leave the house in it's original state or better. I do tend to take on more house visits as of now, and the same practices apply, so don't worry, I won't be leaving you to come back with a nightmare especially after your trips.

Important Information for a Smooth Housesitting Experience

If you have specific preferences or routines around your house (such as air conditioning usage, ventilation, item placement, or activities to avoid), please compile them into a detailed list for any catsitters to follow. This will help ensure a pleasant experience for everyone during my housesitting sessions.

I usually do not strictly adhere to 12 pm check-in/check-out times, to accomodate to my clients' needs better. However, this depends on my schedule availability, so please check with me if you need me to stay longer on the day of checkout or arrive a little earlier. I'm happy to help if I can! If you require me to be at your house extremely early or late and it's far from my home, it would be best if you could provide taxi fare reimbursement, especially since I will be traveling with my luggage, making peak hour transportation inconvenient.

Please let me know your preference regarding updates during our bookings. I don't want to overwhelm you with too many updates, images, or videos. However, if you prefer, I can keep you informed about your cats' meals, any vomiting, or lack of use of the litter box. I can also share plenty of photos and videos during my stay.

I hope my commitment to maximizing your feline babies' safety will be reassuring for anxious cat parents.
