Hi! I’m Prisha, nice to meet you! A little background about me: I am an Environmental & Marine Science diploma student who genuinely enjoys caring for cats. 🐱

I’ve looked after several community cats in my area, including some who were initially quite wary and feisty. By being patient, giving them space and consistently caring for them, I was able to gradually earn their trust. This has taught me to pay attention to each cat’s individual personality and body language, respect their boundaries and never force interaction when they’re uncomfortable.

Through my Environmental & Marine Science studies, I’ve gained hands-on experience caring for animals, including carrying out meticulous care for rearing tilapia for 11 weeks. This involved following strict feeding routines, observing their physical health, ensuring good water quality through water testing, and taking responsibility for their daily care.

While I’m new to professional pet sitting, I have genuine hands-on experience caring for animals and am especially interested in providing attentive and reliable care for cats since young. I’d love to help owners feel reassured while they’re away! :) During my 30-minute home visits, I can provide feeding, fresh water, litter-box cleaning, grooming, playtime and companionship, as well as send photos and updates so you know how your cat is doing.

I understand that every cat has its own routine and personality, so I’m careful to follow feeding instructions, respect their boundaries and pay attention to changes in their behaviour. I’ll also check that doors and windows are secure, make sure food and water are fresh, clean the litter area, monitor your cat’s wellbeing and follow any emergency or contact instructions you provide. I’ll never force interaction if your cat is shy or uncomfortable.

From 3 September to 18 October, I’m available throughout the day for 30-minute home visits. From 19 October onwards, when my diploma term begins, I’m available on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, with a maximum of two 30-minute visits per day.

My goal is to make your cat feel comfortable, safe and cared for while you’re away. I’ll treat your cat with patience, attention and respect, while prioritising their individual needs and routine. At the moment, I’m most comfortable caring for pets without complex medical needs, as I don’t yet have experience with specialised medical care. I’d rather be honest about my experience and make sure I’m the right sitter for your pet.
