Hi, I'm Reuben. My love for dogs started young since age 10, I've cared for puppies and adult dogs, from feeding and bathing to walking and looking after their wellbeing. Over my lifetime, I've cared for 3 dogs, including my beloved Spotty before she passed away when my son was just 3 years old. That lifetime of care shaped the warmth and patience I bring to every dog I walk today, the same warmth and patience I bring as a parent to my own son. 

📋 Experience

• Over 20 years of hands-on dog care, spanning puppies to senior dogs, since I was a child
• 8 years as a flight steward, where I was trained in first aid and handled in-flight emergencies, skills that carry directly into staying calm, alert, and decisive if anything unexpected happens during a walk
• Comfortable with dogs of different sizes, energy levels, and temperaments 

🐕 Dog Walks

• 1-hour walks giving your dog a proper, unhurried session to explore and exercise
• I walk 2 dogs at a time, so your dog gets my full attention throughout no splitting focus across multiple pets
• Walks are adjusted for weather: shorter, shaded, or early-morning/evening walks on hot days, and slower-paced or shorter walks if it's rained and the ground is wet or slippery
• Puppies get gentler, shorter bursts of activity with more rest breaks; senior dogs get a slower pace with close attention to joint stiffness, fatigue, or reluctance to keep going
• Patient with shy or nervous dogs, giving them space and time to warm up at their own pace
• Confident handling high-energy dogs and dogs that pull on the leash, using consistent, gentle leash guidance to keep walks calm and controlled
• Based near Bidadari, serving a 2km radius, so your dog gets a sitter who's genuinely local and easy to reach 

🛡️ Safety First

• Trained in first aid, so I stay calm and know how to respond quickly if your dog is injured, unwell, or in distress during a walk 
• Always keep dogs on a secure leash and avoid busy or crowded areas if your dog is reactive or easily stressed
• Happy to do a meet-and-greet first for reactive or anxious dogs, so we can figure out what makes them comfortable before the first real walk
• Stay calm and observant during walks, so I can spot early signs of discomfort, overheating, or tiredness and adjust the pace or route accordingly
• In case of an emergency, I'll contact you immediately and take your dog to the nearest vet if needed please share your vet's details and any specific instructions when we chat
