Thought of updating my profile, having joined Pawshake as a pet boarder for more than 3 years now and enjoying every single minute of my pet boarding days! I have to say a big THANK YOU to all the paw parents who had entrusted their precious pets to me. I enjoy all our group chats set up during the stay and showing you updates of the pets via photos and videos. For those pawparents who repeatedly came back when the need arises, a rapport has been built between the pets, the pet owners and me so much so that I know what the furkids want from their expressive gestures and eye contact. The paw parents know that I will try to stick as close to their usual routine as possible with regards to their food, walks and sleeping arrangements. Most of the pets go for multiple walks a day with me and a longer evening walk about half an hour along park connectors.
For those who have not boarded their pets with me, I am Amy. I used to have 2 small dogs with anxiety issues so for the past 15 years that I had them, my holidays if any, were short trips of a couple of days as I could not find a suitable home boarding for them. My dogs have since passed away and I started offering my pet boarding service so you can feel at ease while travelling, knowing that your pet will have a clean and loving environment to stay while you are away. I am at home most of the time and will only be caring for 1 pet at any one time so it will be assured of frequent hugs and cuddles. Bookings will be on a first come first serve basis so whoever can confirm and book first will get the slot. Then I will be able to blackout those dates for you. Owners are advised to bring their pet's own food and bed if any to reduce the pet's anxiety. With regards to any other issues, I am open for discussion as my priority is to provide your pet a home away from home.
Amy took great care of our baby as usual, and we were really grateful to have Amy available when we urgently needed a dog sitter. Thank you Amy!!
Thankful to have found Amy - her experience with dogs that has separation anxiety is a great relief for me as my dog has the same issue too. Will definitely be engaging Amy whenever I need help!
