hello! i'm angel, a current university student. my motivation to be a pet sitter is my love for furry friends. at the same time, this job provides me with financial support & my upcoming holidays will allow more ensured availability & i'm more flexible to be tailored according to your needs! however, i am unavailable past 7pm on weekdays and weekends (subjective as i normally have family plans on weekends)

i dont have experience petsitting but i did have a pet of my own. i recently lost my pet dog due to old age but i spent most of my childhood with her growing up. i think this job will remind me of our good memories. i loved laying on the floor, spending time with her, giving her treats and taking her on walks down at the park connector downstairs.

when first meeting your furry friend, i would slowly approach them in a calm manner, i would let dogs sniff the back of my hand to familiarise themselves with my scent, and give them treats. additionally, i would ensure that i give them time and space to get comfortable around me. an ideal time estimate of a walk would be 30mins, bringing along water, plastic bags and treats if preferred. additionally, in home visits, i would like to know what your preferences are and things i should look out for!

if your furry friend display signs of discomfort or should emergencies happen, you would be my first point of contact. in the meantime, if they are observably anxious such as their tail is between their hind legs or shivering etc. , i would stop all activities and bring them home or find somewhere quieter to rest if we were outdoors. do expect timely updates through photographs and text messages when i pick up and drop off / play with our furry friend!
