Singapore
About mikko
My service focus area: Bishan only
Dog Walker/ Dog and Cat Sitter
My experience with cats: living with 1 and taking care of her in my house.
I also had a dog before as pet, a schnauzer that crossed over rainbow bridge due to old age and I’m the main caregiver.
My motivation to be a pet sitter stems from my deep love and passion for animals, and the joy I find in providing them with attentive care, comfort, and companionship while their owners are away.
I also have volunteered in animal shelters and experience in pet /house sitting and dog walking for more than 17 years.
Besides feeding and taking care of your pets, playtime will also be included. Dog walk is included for house visits, can be discuss and please refer to the notes section as well.
- For dog walking, I have experience in walking all sizes of dogs (from chihuahua to Singapore special / golden retriever). Walking the usual route the owner prefers can be discuss.
I have a flexible timing on my end so not to worry if there’s a need/ emergency to go to do a check on your pets.
I'm a clean and neat person in general so your place would be like the same when you left.
No pet boarding at my place as I have a queen aka. my cat in the house

Notes:
-Unable to care for cats who are FIV positive* or have cat flu / rabbits as I have no experience in taking care of them
-Unable to cook meals for your pets in your house as this is for safety purposes as well
-Dogs/ cats with severe separation anxiety (eg. Howling, barking or whining, meowing non stop for hours), I am unable to care for with these extreme behaviours.
-Pets have to be up-to-date with vaccinations and free of ticks and fleas
-Ensure your place is pet safe as possible before going away (eg. knives are not left in open area, glasses/vase are kept in safe places etc)
-Please keep all your valuables locked up while you away to avoid unnecessary disputes or misunderstanding on such matters. I am not liable for any missing items in the house. It is important to have trust with your pet sitter.
Owners have to take full responsibility if their pet bites or attacks other humans or pets during their time with me (for example if I take the dog out for walk in public and it became hostile)
Emergency contact provided has to be in Singapore at the same time under my care.
In any case the owner is not contactable overseas and the emergency contact has to be reachable in the event of an accident in order to advise the next course of action.
recommended pawrents to have pet cameras in public places set up so that you would be able to monitor regularly while you away.
No last minute cancellation please.
