My name is Gladys, and I'm a proud cat parent to Tofu, who was adopted three years back and recently turned 10. Despite hailing from a neglectful environment, Tofu happens to be the biggest sweetheart and whose currency is food and naps. A year ago, my family and I also welcomed Ginger, an injured stray cat with a gaping chest wound into our home and nursed her back to health. Needless to say, two weeks was all it took for her to leave a mark in our hearts and she has been a treasured addition ever since. Having cared for Tofu who dealt with and is still on ongoing management of pancreatic, liver, and bile duct inflammation, as well as Ginger's wounds, I have had experience with wound care, pill administration and subcutting. On the bright side (and disregarding their medical history), both cats are healthy and thriving at the moment, and continue to live very vibrant lives! 😂

Animals hold a special place in my heart, and I have continuously extended my care beyond my own furry companions through feeding and supporting the wellbeing of community cats. A notable achievement was raising funds to assist rescuers and fellow community cat feeders in meeting medical and feeding needs. 🙂

Whenever I'm not doting on my furry companions, I hold a regular 9-5 job as a researcher and dabble in my weekly fitness routine.

When it comes to your beloved pets, I understand that routine and familiarity are key. This is why I'm committed to working out a customised schedule with you, ensuring minimal disruption to daily routines and reducing any separation anxiety your pet(s) might experience. Open communication and mutual trust are vital to me as well, so feel free to ask any questions or share specific needs.  

What can you expect of me? I'm dedicated to
providing top-notch care for your beloved fur-riends and ensuring their well-being and happiness. When you entrust your pets to my care, here's what you can count on:  

• Safe and secure environment: Your pets' safety is paramount. I'll take all necessary precautions to provide a secure environment, both indoors and outdoors. You can trust that I'll keep a watchful eye on them and maintain a pet-friendly space during my time with them. 
• Tailored schedules: I understand that every pet has unique needs and routines. To minimize stress and disruption, I'll work with you to
  create a personalised house-visit schedule that keeps your furry pals comfortable and content.
• Open communication: I believe in the power of trust and transparent communication. I'll gladly answer any questions you may have and
  provide regular updates on your pets' activities and well-being (with the occasional derpy photos). You deserve a peace of mind, knowing that your fur babies are safe and sound.
• Extra love and attention: Your pets will receive abundant affection and attention from me. Whether it's playtime, cuddles, or belly rubs, I'll make sure they feel loved and cared for throughout my time with them. Their happiness is my priority. :)
• Respect for routines: Animals thrive on routines, and I fully appreciate that. From feeding schedules to exercise routines and medication requirements, I will be happy to accommodate your instructions, ensuring that your pet(s) feel comfortable and secure in their familiar routines. 

For once/ twice a day house visits, I will be happy to:

• Schedule a pre-visit to get acquainted with pets, schedules, personalities, environment, etc

• Accommodate any services within a 1.5 hour time window, including, meals, water, clean ups, medications, litter box cleaning, play time, grooming, walks, etc.

For house-sitting arrangements (of up to 24 hours/ slot), I will be happy to:

• Schedule a pre-house sitting visit to get acquainted with pets, schedules, personalities, environment, etc
• Provide meals as scheduled, timely clean ups and sanitising of meal areas 🍿🍕

• Changing of water bowls twice a day 🥣
• Cleaning/ changing litter areas 💩
• Medications 💊
• Grooming/ brushing 🪥
• Play time 🛝
• Twice/ day walks, if required (of up to half hour) 🦮
• Bedtime with pets, if required 💤
• Other miscellaneous tasks around the house: collecting mails, watering plants, emptying trash, stripping sheets, light vacuuming around the house to prevent dust/ fur build up 🏠
• Additional: if required to house-sit for prolonged periods of time, I would appreciate flexibility in being able to work, and commute out for my appointments, weekly CrossFit commitments, social events, etc.
