I’m a pet owner with several years of hands-on experience caring for animals. I’ve had my own Toy Poodle since 2018, so I’m very familiar with the everyday responsibilities of looking after a dog, including feeding, walks, playtime, maintaining routines, and giving them plenty of attention and companionship. I also have a young kitten born in late June, which has given me experience caring for a young cat and understanding the different needs and personalities of both dogs and cats. I have also helped care for dogs belonging to family members.

For home visits, I will follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible. Each visit can include feeding, refreshing their water, cleaning litter trays or pet areas, toilet breaks, playtime, companionship and a general check on their wellbeing. For dogs, walks can also be included depending on their usual routine and your instructions. I will keep owners updated on how their pet is doing during the visit.

For daycare, I will follow your pet’s usual feeding, toilet and rest schedule throughout the day. They will have time for play, attention and relaxation rather than being kept active constantly. Dogs will be taken for walks according to their normal activity level, while cats will have appropriate indoor play and enrichment. I will also take into account your pet’s age, personality and energy level so that their routine is suitable for them.

For dog walks during booked care, I usually walk dogs around my neighbourhood and nearby walking areas, while avoiding unsafe or overly crowded places where possible. Walks will generally be around 20–30 minutes, but I can adjust the duration depending on your dog’s age, health, energy level and normal routine. Dogs will remain leashed unless the owner specifically requests otherwise and it is safe and appropriate to do so.

For pet boarding, your pet will stay in a home environment and I will follow their usual feeding schedule, walking and toilet routine, play preferences and other care instructions as closely as possible. Please note that from Monday to Wednesday, I may be away from approximately 7am to 7pm, so boarded pets may be left alone during this period. I would therefore like owners to let me know beforehand whether their pet is comfortable being alone for this length of time. Outside of these hours, I will be able to spend time with them and provide attention, playtime and care.

I also take precautions to keep pets secure while they are in my home. Doors will be kept closed and I will make sure pets are safely inside before opening the main door. Dogs will be leashed before leaving the home for walks, and pets can be kept in separate areas when necessary, especially while they are getting used to my own dog and cat. I will always introduce pets carefully and monitor how they interact.

Before accepting a booking, I would like to know about your pet’s personality, routine, behaviour around dogs and cats, walking habits and whether they are comfortable being left alone. I would also like to know about any special needs or behaviours I should be aware of. My priority is to make sure that my home and schedule are suitable for your pet and to provide them with a safe, relaxed and caring environment while you’re away.
