Hi! My name is Kai-E, and I’m an undergraduate at a local university offering dog walking and short-term pet sitting services. I am based in Marine Terrace. While I’m new to professional pet sitting, I grew up with a dog and am familiar with the responsibility, patience, and attentiveness needed to care for a pet properly.

I’m comfortable handling most pets, especially dogs, with different temperaments. For shy or anxious pets, I take a calm and gentle approach, giving them space and time to feel comfortable. For more energetic dogs, I ensure they get sufficient exercise while maintaining control and safety on walks. I’m careful with leash handling, stay alert to surroundings, and avoid hazards such as traffic, crowded areas, or unsafe food.

I will follow owner instructions closely, whether it’s feeding schedules, walking routines, or specific do’s and don’ts. I’m observant of changes in behaviour, appetite, or energy levels and will communicate updates clearly so owners have peace of mind. I prioritize safety during every home visit by securing dogs and pet locks and maintain communication before and after each visit.

My motivation for pet sitting comes from enjoying the responsibility and trust involved in caring for animals while respecting their routines. I’m also happy to take morning walks at East Coast Park if engaged. I aim to treat every pet with the same care, respect, and attentiveness I would expect for my own. 😊
