Hi, I’m Naomi!

While I’m new to dog sitting professionally, I’ve always been a dog person and grew up with dogs. I recently stepped away from my corporate job to take a career break and focus on things that genuinely bring me joy and spending time with dogs is one of them. I’ve grown up with dogs of all sizes throughout my life, including a Yorkshire Terrier, Maltese, German Shepherd and Golden Retriever. Living with such different breeds has taught me that every dog has its own personality, routine and needs. Whether it’s an energetic pup who loves long walks or a senior dog who prefers a quiet cuddle, I enjoy getting to know each dog and making them feel comfortable.

Over the years, I’ve also looked after many friends’ dogs whenever they travel or need an extra helping hand. I understand that leaving your dog with someone new can be a big decision, so I treat every dog as if they were my own with patience, affection and lots of attention.

One of the biggest advantages I can offer is my flexibility. As I’m currently on a career break, I have a very open schedule and can dedicate my time to the dogs in my care. Your dog won’t be left alone all day while I’m at work. Instead, they’ll have plenty of companionship, regular walks, playtime, toilet breaks and cuddles throughout the day. I’m also happy to accommodate weekday, weekend, overnight, extended or even last-minute bookings where possible.

I live in a spacious 1,600 sq ft walk-up with plenty of room for dogs to move around comfortably. Because it’s not a condominium, there are no pet restrictions, making it suitable for all breeds. I also live with my partner, who’s just as much of a dog lover as I am. He grew up with a Beagle and a Bernedoodle, so your pup will always have two experienced dog people around. We aim to provide a calm, safe and home-like environment where dogs can settle in comfortably rather than feeling like they’re in a kennel.

I’m happy to care for friendly, well-socialised dogs of all sizes and breeds. Before every booking, I’d love to understand your dog’s daily routine, feeding schedule, exercise needs and any special requirements so I can provide the best possible care and keep their stay as familiar as possible. I’ll also keep you updated with regular photos and messages, so you can enjoy your time away knowing your furry family member is happy, safe and well looked after.
