Hi, my name is Melita and I would love to meet and walk/look after your pets! I jog bi-weekly around Tanjong Rhu Promenade/Gardens by the Bay and I would be very happy to bring your dog/s with me. I'm an avid dog lover but I also have experience taking care of (and becoming friends with) cats and rabbits. The pomeranian you see in my photos is Mocha, my dog who became my best friend when I was 10 years old. Unfortunately, he passed last year from old age after 14 years in our family. I'm not ready to have my own new dog but I still love walking/taking care of/getting to know the likes and dislikes of other dogs. I've also lived with two sibling cats, Meneer and Mevrouw, whom you see in my photos, and took care of them in my house for a few months while my friend was abroad. While cats are quite different to please than dogs, I did a lot of research when they lived with me and soon enough we had a great bond with lots of head butting, kneading, and laying across my laptop when they want cuddles (like in the photo above). I did ample research when I was raising my own dog too! One of my proud training moments is having him potty trained to consistently do his business in the garden within his first few years. He was trained to come to me and signal towards to garden door whenever he needs to pee/poo.

I normally jog/run around 10km twice a week and if you have a big dog who needs more exercise or an active higher energy dog, I'd be more than happy to take your dog(s) on my runs. If 10km is too much for your dog(s), I'm open to discuss a shorter distance and I can bring your dog(s) back halfway through my run (if you live in near the Tanjong Rhu Promenade). I'd also be willing to just walking your dog on the days I don't run in the case that your dog loves a more leisurely stroll/bathroom breaks. If you don't live in my area, we can definitely discuss more as I'd be open to walking your dog(s) at a nearby park. Something I see that leads me to believe that dogs living in my area aren't getting enough exercise or enough walking is that everytime I run, I lap around domestic helpers sitting together chatting or on the phone while the dogs are on the leash but laying on the floor. I oftentimes pass the same groups of helpers with the same dogs that aren't getting walked. They will be in the exact spot for an hour or more without moving.

About the services:

Dog walking - 1 walking/running session, will make sure they go to the bathroom (pee & poo) and clean up the latter. Will report to you if they went to the bathroom.

Home visits - Feeding, refilling water bowl, cleaning litter/bathroom accidents if any. I won't let your pets live in its 'business' on the floor for the rest of the day. Will send you updates/photos/videos if you like. Will play with them for at least 45 min at a time so they have some exercise in their day.

House sitting - I'll stay overnight with your pet and make sure I take care of it. Same services as home visits but much more and for the entire night and morning. Will of course play with your pet(s) and entertain them longer if I'm staying with them!
