Hi!

Im Rachel - a calm and attentive petsitter with a soft spot for dogs and cats who thrive on routine and a gentle environment. 🐾 Though I'm new on Pawshake, I have accumulated plenty of experience as the designated housesitter for travelling friends!

I work a 9-5 schedule (4 days in office, 1 day from home), so I'm best suited for pets that are comfortable being alone during the day and enjoy consistent companionship in the mornings, evenings and overnight. I always prioritise keeping to your pets routine so they feel safe and settled when you're away :)

I have hands on experience volunteering at an animal shelter where I've cared for dogs and cats with different temperaments - including anxious and more sensitive personalities. This has taught me to read their behaviour, respect their boundaries and provide calm patient care at their comfortable pace.

At home I'm naturally tidy and respectful of your space. I'm also happy to help water the plants, receive deliveries, take out the trash and I'll keep you updated with daily photos and messages so you can have a peace of mind!

💚What you can expect:

- a home visit prior to the housesit to understand your pets needs and environment

- feeding according to schedule

- daily walks up to twice a day (dogs), litter box cleaning (cats)

- administering medication if needed

- clean and tidy home maintained during your absence and respectful housesitting

- Daily updates and prompt responses
