Hi, I’m Anisha. I’ve been an animal lover ever since I was 8 years old. I seek happiness by bonding with animals. Be it my own pets or friends’. I’ve been actively involved in rescuing and fostering stray dogs in India, and involved with community cat feeding and caretaking in Singapore. 

I often struggle with the question “are you a dog or a cat person”. My usual reply is both.

My love for animals is best captured in the words of George Orwell “four legs better than two”.

I am a mommy to an adopted mixed breed cat named Mowgli and a geriatric cat Pikachu, who suffered from chronic pancrititis but i nursed him back to health. Before this I’ve co-lived with a tabby, a mixed breed dog, a bengal and two Persian cats. I’m known to have great “catty vibes” which makes cats open up to me. While each cat is unique and has a distinct personality, I believe if you learn to respect their private space, and show adequate attention, all cats can be befriended.

I’m a writer by profession and in my spare time I look after cats and small dogs.

I’ve spent plenty of idle hours researching and studying car temperaments. Recently, I authored an article “I understood internet’s obsession with cats after becoming a cat mom”. You can read it online.
