I am passionate about animals especially cats and dogs. Now that I am retired, and kids grown up, I have time to help those who have work committments to ensure their fur babies are well taken care of with peace of mind.  I am a responsible person having had cats in the past.  

I currently don't have pets of my own as not all my family members can agree to have one. I am therefore seeking to help those in need of a pet sitter.

I had 3 long haired cats as a kid and my responsibilities included feeding the cats, brushing them and of course playing with them.

We had community cats in our block and for years, a cat would follow me in the lift up to my unit. I would feed Amber, the ginger cat, for many years.  Amber would eat and sleep in my flat for a day.  She would come and go as she pleased.  Never wanting to stay in the same place for too long.  I was not the only "part time" owner.  People in the block which Amber trusted, fed her and took care of her too.  I was very lucky and fortunate that Amber chose me.  

Last year I went to Istanbul for the sole purpose of looking for their famed cats around the city.  I loved and enjoyed how brave the cats were, climbing onto my lap for warmth, cuddles and pets.

My father-in-law had a Beagle, George, which we took for walks, fed him and played with him.
