Hi there!

I am Sharon and I have been volunteering with ASD (Action for Singapore Dogs) since June 2025. As vollies, we go through a 3-mth long training which includes getting to know the different dogs in shelter, learning about their quirks and all, and putting to practice the ways we were shared about managing the different dogs during our walk with them e.g. dogs that are a little skittish, dogs that may be a little reactive etc. All that are aside the safety notes that we were briefed on that remain key during the walk to date.

I enjoy walking the dogs (Singapore Specials) every weekend as it brings me great joy to be around them. In case you are wondering, I walk close to 7-8 dogs for every of my session, each with its own quirks that I would observe and manage around them. Occasionally, I would help to shower them too (and talk to them as I believe it would calm them down and get them less anxious). Understanding your precious little ones (their quirks and anything else to take note of), walking them, engaging them (talking to them, playing with them, and feeding them), and cleaning them on your behalf is something you can be sure to count on me to do at ease and with lots of love. Rest assured I am committed to loving them and caring for them like my very own. As I am currently working an almost 9-6 job, walking your precious little ones from 7pm onwards (flexible to work around your timing too) over the weekdays is something you can count on me to help you with, not to mention the weekends that I would also want to avail my time for :)
