I am an experienced pet-mom. I have a pre-teen daughter of my own who loves small pets too. We are currently raising a 2-3 year old terrapin whom we call "No Name". I am currently working full-time but am able to commit to doing house visits and house-sitting. I have a place of my own too, however it is not cat/dog proof. I do feel pets are often comfortable at their own homes and I will much prefer it that way. 

I do not merely care for pets without educating myself first. Different pets have different characteristics and needs. Do share with me more about your little ones. I encourage pet owners/parents to meet up with me first before we make an arrangement. To me, it is important to respect and understand every owners' way of raising their babies. 

A little background:

I used to care for a senior cat for 2 years (from 2014 to 2016) before passing the responsibility on to a foster carer. 

I also had a hamster who grew till old age (2 years plus) before he passed on from 2019 to 2021.

I fostered a terrapin late last year and ended up adopting her (you can see her in the gallery).Her previous owner was not able to care for her. She may seem low maintenance but I beg to differ. She has her wants, her needs and her desire to not be coped up in the tank. She's a free roamer and an explorer. 

I do not restrict myself to just cats and small pets. I am open to dogs too. 

Pets, like a child, experience stranger anxiety too and takes time to warm up to someone new and that's alright. We can always take it slow.
