I’m a dedicated cat sitter who absolutely adores cats. I share my home with two ginger cats, a sweet boy and a playful girl, whom me and my husband adopted over three years ago. They are a huge part of my family, and caring for them has taught me how unique every cat’s personality and needs can be.

My cats are incredibly loved, and they’re always by our side around the house. Living with them has given me hands-on experience in understanding feline behaviour, respecting their boundaries, recognising their routines, and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and happy.

I know how important it is to leave your beloved cat in caring and trustworthy hands. As a fellow cat owner, I understand the worries that come with being away from them. That’s why I’ll care for your cat with the same patience, love, and attention that I give my own.

Services I Provide:

• Daily feeding and fresh water
• Litter tray cleaning and maintenance
• Playtime and enrichment tailored to your cat’s personality
• Cuddles and companionship (if your cat enjoys it!)
• Medication administration (if required)
• Regular updates, photos, and messages for peace of mind
• Basic home care while you’re away (bringing in post, checking on things)

Visit Duration & Routine:

Each visit typically lasts 45 to 60 minutes, depending on your cat’s needs and comfort level. This allows enough time for feeding, litter cleaning, playtime, and most importantly, giving your cat calm, unhurried attention so they don’t feel rushed or stressed.

For cats who need extra companionship, I can also extend visits where needed to ensure they feel settled and secure.

Caring for Shy or Anxious Cats:

I understand that not all cats warm up quickly to new people. For shy or anxious cats, I always take a gentle, patient, and non-intrusive approach:

• let your cat set the pace for interaction
• avoid forcing contact and instead build trust gradually
• use calm body language and a quiet presence
• focus first on routine care so they feel secure
• use play, treats (if allowed), or distance-based interaction to build confidence over time

My goal is always to make your cat feel safe in their own space, not overwhelmed.

Emergencies & Vet Care:

Your cat’s safety is my top priority. In the event of an emergency:

• I will contact you immediately to inform you of the situation
• If needed, I will take your cat to your registered vet or the nearest available veterinary clinic
• I will follow any care instructions you provide in advance
• I remain calm and act quickly to ensure your cat receives prompt attention
• I will keep you updated throughout the process with clear communication

I always recommend having an emergency contact and vet details available before any booking so I can act without delay if needed.

Availability & Service Area:

I offer flexible availability, including weekdays and weekends, and can accommodate both short visits and longer care periods depending on your needs. I am based locally and happy to travel within nearby areas.
