I am an accidental cat guardian of a rescue senior kitty with Chronic Kidney Disease. Prior to cats, had Syrian hamsters for a decade. My cat is stabilised and doing ok so far, would I dare say, great. I hope to maintain her health for more years to come. Together and through her, I have learnt about managing chronic diseases in cats, got a little involved in the welfare of the community strays - mainly exfriends of my cat who was once a community stray like them and generally,

come to like and appreciate cats more these days :)

I can relate to "caregiver stress" that you may face either as an owner of a newly diagnosed cat with CKD or someone wanting a caregiver for your CKD cat when you are unable to be around. I faced and would probably face the same worries and have the same needs in future too. So I hope to at least be able to offset your worries by petsitting for you as someone who also have had experience with CKD cats.

I offer the usual petsitting services of Feeding and cleaning up after mealtimes, Litter tray duties, Pet living area tidying up, Playtime and company, photo video and text updates. But the same time, I also am able to provide subcut assistance or perform subcut in your absence plus medications and injections, if needed, during the petsitting. CKD cats can have diminished appetites, but you can be sure of my gentle persistence to encourage them to eat. I have had plenty of experience ensuring my own takes in enough food to maintain her daily caloric needs.
