I have a Diploma in Veterinary Technology and several years of hands-on experience caring for animals in both clinical and everyday settings. Beyond my professional background, I genuinely enjoy spending time with pets and building trust with them at their own pace. I find it meaningful and rewarding to care for animals not only by meeting their daily needs, but also by ensuring they feel safe, comfortable, and happy.

Being around pets brings me a great sense of joy and calm. I find the time spent with animals to be therapeutic, as their presence is grounding and comforting. Whether it is going for walks, engaging in playtime, or simply sitting quietly with them, these moments are rewarding and help create a positive and nurturing environment for both the pet and myself.

I enjoy being with pets because they are expressive and responsive to kindness and consistency. I am attentive to their routines, behaviours, and emotional needs, and I take pride in caring for each pet as if they were my own.

Professionally, I am working in a emergency hospital, where I primarily care for dogs and cats. My role includes feeding, administering medication, husbandry, monitoring patients and their behaviours, and handling animals safely and calmly, even in high stress situations. This experience has strengthened my ability to observe subtle changes in behaviours and health, and to provide attentive and compassionate care. Through both my personal and professional experiences, I am confident and comfortable caring for dogs and cats with different temperament and needs, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being at all times.

I provide daily walks and outdoor toilet breaks, adjusted according to their energy level, age, and comfort. Walks are carried out safely and calmly, with close attention paid to the dog’s behaviour and surroundings. I believe walks are not just for exercise, but also an important form of mental stimulation and enrichment. In addition to walks and outdoor toilet breaks, I am also attentive to pets’ daily care routines and overall well-being. This includes refilling fresh water and preparing meals according to their feeding schedule, as well as administering oral medications or supplements when required, based on the owner’s instructions. I understand the importance of consistency in routines, especially for pets who may feel anxious when their owners are away.

I also believe that pets need emotional enrichment and companionship, not just basic care. I make time to engage them through play, interaction, and gentle companionship based on their individual personality, energy level, and comfort. Whether a pet is active and playful or prefers a calm and quiet environment, I adapt my approach to help them feel safe, comfortable, and emotionally secure.

Beyond daily care, I am comfortable providing basic grooming and hygiene support, including nail clipping, ear cleaning, brushing of teeth, and coat brushing to help maintain their comfort and cleanliness. With my clinical background, I am confident handling pets calmly and safely during these routines, while paying close attention to their stress signals and body language.

I am experienced in caring for multiple pets at the same time, including households with two or more pets, while ensuring each pet receives individual attention and care. I also place strong importance on supervision and safety. I do not leave pets unattended for extended periods, and they will not be left alone for more than an hour unless otherwise discussed with the owner.
