Hi! I’m rachel , and dogs are my whole world. At home I have four of my own: three rescues (an 8-year-old girl and two 9-year-old boys) and an 8-month-old Shiba-Husky puppy who keeps me on my toes every day. Caring for both seniors and a lively youngster means I’m comfortable with dogs at every life stage, from gentle, slower-paced walks to high-energy play and puppy training.

I offer care in your own home, so your dog can stay relaxed in familiar surroundings with their usual bed, toys, and routine. I can come by for walks, feeding, fresh water, playtime, and some company, and I’m happy to follow your dog’s schedule, medication, and any little quirks that keep them comfortable.

Caring for rescues has taught me patience and how to read a dog’s body language. I know that nervous or anxious dogs need a calm, gentle approach and time to warm up to someone new. And living with a Shiba-Husky means I’m well practised with clever, independent, escape-artist personalities, so I’m always careful with leads, gates, and doors.

Walks & Home Visits: My walks usually last 30 to 60 minutes, depending on your dog’s age, energy level, and what they’re used to. Home visit duration can be discussed based on what your dog needs, whether that’s a quick check-in for feeding and fresh water or a longer stay with playtime and company.

Where I Walk: I usually walk dogs around the neighbourhood, nearby parks, and park connectors, sticking to quieter, familiar routes so your dog feels at ease. I prefer walking in the cooler parts of the day, early morning or evening, to keep dogs comfortable and safe from the heat.

I’ll send you photo updates after each visit so you know exactly how your dog is doing, and I’ll treat your home with the same respect I’d treat my own.

Availability: I’m mostly free on weekends, and weekdays are possible too with advance notice. Just let me know your dates as early as you can and I’ll do my best to make time for your pup.
