I am working a 100% remote role which means my time is relatively flexible and I can work from your house if my presence is needed!

I wanted to spend some time doing something meaningful and joyful out of work — and caring for animals felt like the perfect fit. I’ve always loved being around pets and have had hands-on experience looking after my friends’ cats and dogs, from feeding and walks to playtime and keeping them company while their owners are away. I would love to own a cat and dog next time once I move out of my family home as my parents are not the biggest fans of animals.

I genuinely enjoy building trust with animals and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved in their own environment. Every pet has a unique personality, and I take the time to understand their routines, habits, and little quirks so they feel at ease. I always take time to observe their behaviour, follow their usual routines, and approach them at their pace — whether that means extra playtime, calm companionship, or simply sitting nearby until they feel comfortable.

For safety, I’m careful to follow all instructions closely, including feeding portions, medication schedules (if any), leash preferences, and home rules. During walks, I ensure pets are securely leashed and avoid crowded or stressful areas unless advised otherwise. I also keep owners updated with messages and photos for peace of mind, and I’m attentive to any changes in behaviour or appetite so concerns can be flagged early.

While I’m most familiar with cats and dogs, I’m very open to caring for other animals as well. My goal is to provide reliable, attentive care — and plenty of affection — so pet owners can have peace of mind knowing their fur babies are in warm, loving hands. 🩷
