Safety-wise, I double-check doors, gates, and windows, and I keep an eye on their behaviour so nothing feels “off.” And as someone with pets, I know the stress of leaving them with a stranger. I want owners to feel like their pets are with someone who actually cares, not someone who’s just dropping by to tick boxes.
