Hi! My name is Olivia, and I’m a huge dog lover 🐾 I’m 18 and about to start university, and I’d love to spend some of my free time doing something I genuinely enjoy, hanging out with dogs!

I’ve grown up surrounded by dogs my whole life, from German Shepherds to minature Malteses, so I’m comfortable with dogs of all shapes, sizes and personalities. I also have a senior dog of my own, which has taught me that every dog has their own needs, pace and personality. I’ve also volunteered at animal shelters, where I gained experience caring for both playful puppies and older dogs.

At the moment, I offer dog walking and am available every day from 8am–6pm. Walks can be tailored to your dog’s age, energy level and personality, whether they’re looking for a big adventure, a gentle stroll, or simply some time outside and plenty of sniffing! I’m happy to follow any specific instructions you have about their routine, favourite routes, behaviour or needs.

I know that every dog is different, and sometimes things don't go exactly to plan! If a dog was scared, stressed or overwhelmed, I would stay calm and patient rather than getting frustrated, as I believe dogs can pick up on our energy. I would give them the space they need and use positive encouragement to help them feel comfortable again. If we came across another dog that wasn't friendly, I would calmly create distance and remove us from the situation. I would also make sure I understand each owner's instructions before the walk, especially if their dog has particular triggers or behaviours I should be aware of. Above all, I would never take unnecessary risks and would always put the dog's safety and wellbeing first.

For every walk, I’ll bring water, poo bags and treats (if your dog is allowed them), and I’m always happy to send you a photo or update so you know how your furry friend is getting on. I’m comfortable with big or small dogs, including energetic, senior or more nervous pups, and your dog’s safety and comfort will always come first.
