About Me

My journey with cat care began in 2023 when my partner and I welcomed two Ragdoll cats into our family. Since then, I've gained hands-on experience with daily feline care, including feeding, litter box maintenance, refreshing food and water, administering medication (pills, eye drops, and liquid medication via oral syringe), and providing enrichment through play and companionship.

As a cat owner myself, I understand that many cats feel happiest and most secure in their own familiar environment. That's why I appreciate the value of a reliable pet sitter who can help maintain their routine and comfort while their owners are away.

What You Can Expect

Each visit typically lasts 30–45 minutes for households with one to two cats.

During each visit, I will:

• Feed your cat and refresh food and water as needed.
• Clean and maintain the litter box.
• Check on your cat's overall health and well-being.
• Ensure your home is left tidy and secure.
• Provide playtime, companionship, and enrichment where appropriate.

The priority of every visit is to ensure your cat's essential needs and well-being are taken care of first. Playtime and social interaction will be tailored to your cat's interest and comfort level.

Adapting to Different Cat Personalities

I understand that every cat has their own personality, and I always respect their individual comfort levels.

• Friendly and social cats – I'll happily engage them with playtime, treats, attention, and grooming (if they enjoy it).

• Shy or nervous cats – I'll move at their pace, avoid forcing interactions, and focus on helping them feel safe and comfortable.

I believe regular updates provide peace of mind while you're away. After each visit, I'll send an update which may include:

1. Photos and videos
2. Confirmation of feeding and water refreshment
3. Litter box status
4. Notes on your cat's behaviour, mood, and overall well-being

Emergencies & Unexpected Situations

Should any unexpected situation arise, such as signs of illness, injury, unusual behaviour, accidents, or household issues, I will contact you immediately and follow your preferred emergency instructions.

If urgent veterinary attention is required and I am unable to reach you promptly, I will act in your cat's best interest by bringing them to the nearest veterinary clinic or pet emergency hospital to ensure they receive timely care.

While I am not a veterinary professional, I am committed to ensuring your cat remains safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you're away.

Availability

I currently work a regular 9am–6pm schedule and am available for weekday visits from 7pm onwards. I am generally more flexible on weekends and am happy to discuss arrangements based on your specific needs.
