Dear pet owner, I will ensure that your dog is loved, exercised, stays healthy and has a pleasant stay when away from you! However, before sending a request, 1. please check my availability dates, 2 Do note that I only take fully litter trained doggies only! No puppies. Although I mostly work from home - I DO NOT provide 24 hrs supervision. Expect me to step out of the house 3-4 hrs in a day during overnight boarding. I will be around the whole time for day care- except when i have to step out for groceries- lunch or some such. Because I step out i cannot take in dogs with separation anxiety, barking because my neighbors get affected and we have 6 families in my floor.

ABOUT ME: I am writing my doctoral thesis and spend most of my time at home or the library. I love the animal world and doggies especially bring immense joy to me- I love their warmth, and simplicity. I grew up on a farm with an Alsatian, German- Spitz, cats and rabbits.

DAY CARE/ BOARDING ENVIRONMENT: My husband and I live in a condo on Ford Avenue. My apartment has a hilly residential area (minimum traffic) behind the condo for leisurely dog walking. Day Care hours: 8:00 am onwards until 6:00 pm. ( However I am flexible -so overtime is also fine on some days) Overnight Boarding- 24 hours amounts to one boarding

EXPERIENCE: So far I am able to discern when a warm hug and soothing words can melt away fear and when a pet needs time to adjust. For the safety of my family I only take pets who are regular with the vaccination shots.

FOOD: Please provide the food that your pet eats on a regular basis- so there is no change in diet.

HOUSE TRAINING: Do let me know the dos and don'ts for your pet and I will follow the same. I prefer dogs that are grass trained or properly litter box trained. I CANNOT TAKE DOGS: 1. Pooping/peeing on furniture/ walls/ doors. 2. Chewing of furniture and scratching of door 3. Continuous barking (Out of separation anxiety if left alone when i am out). I live in a rented apartment and compensation costs for damaged furniture, walls is high- so I need to be very careful and cannot take pets with such history.

PICK UP AND DROP: If you require help with pick up and drop- I can do so occasionally ..If this involves long distance taxi commute- I will need to be reimbursed the cost.
