My name is Jothi and I am 31 years old. I have a 2 yr old dog. It's a maltipoo and her name is chunko. It definitely peaked my interest in taking care of animals especially dogs. I am thinking of owning a 2nd dog, but with my current schedule as a pharmacist and already looking after chunko, that possiblity of owning a 2nd dog is slim. Hence, I am here to vicariously live that dream through other owner's dog. I prefer taking care of small to medium size dogs and I prefer if the dogs are breeds that do not shed too much fur or hypoallergenic (e.g shaunzer, poodle, cavapoo etc). The dog has to be fully vaccinated as well. I am able to walk and provide dog boarding services. I also have plenty of toys and space for the dog to live in a conducive environment and plus a playmate (chunko) for the dog when I am away at work. My working hours are office hours, so not to fret, I will be at home in time to meet your dog needs.

I live near the Ghim Moh market and it is a pet friendly environment and 10mins walk away from Star Vista (Pet friendly mall). we also have a long walking trail called the railway corridor and many owners take their dogs for a walk there. For home-boarding services, I will be able to provide these services on Friday-Sunday as it's those days are my free day. So owners looking to go for a short weekend trip, I am happy to look after them. I will keep the dog mostly in the living room as its spacious and has a ceiling fan (breezy environment). My gate is fully fenced up and the kitchen area is also fenced up. Dogs can freely roam in the living room. 

For dog walking, I can take them out for 30- 60mins, I like to take my puppy to star vista and holland village. It is also another great opportunity for dogs to socialize. The area I am living in is very convenient in terms of getting pet food (pet lovers at Star Vista) and medical needs (Gentle Oak veterinary).

I love to get this opportunity to gain more exposure in taking care of dogs. I mingle with many dogs really well. I used to live in Australia for my undergrad studies and I had the chance to interact with many dogs breeds. This made me interested in owning a dog and I would like to offer my pet sitting services to others. I feel a sense of calm and joy when taking care of dogs, which led to my interest to become a dog sitter.
